Feed your mind

The most important thing that I have learned in my 3 years as an internet marketer, is that self-development skill books are your best friend. Learning these skills will improve every aspect of your life.

If you have not read
How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie, go to your local library or buy it today! This is a classic self-development skill book written in 1937 and is still relevant today. Dale Carnegie teaches “people skills” that are so important in business and everyday life. He uses stories of the experiences of his students and examples from historic figures so it is lively and interesting. You will learn to take an interest in people. People need praise, encouragement and appreciation…focus on “you” not “me” and make it a part of your life. This is required reading for many business executives and all attendees of Dale Carnegie’s course in Effective Speaking and Human Relations. If it was up to me, it would be required reading for everyone!

Another of my favorite books is The Magic of Thinking Big by David J. Schwartz, Ph.D. Written in 1959, it is still as empowering today as it was back then. Dr. Schwartz illustrates a plan that will make you a better person. If you can think it, then you can do it. He will help you improve every aspect of your life…home, work, and community. Some of what you will learn is:

*Believe You Can Succeed and You Will

*Cure Yourself of the Fear of Failure

*Build Confidence and Destroy Fear

*Learn How to Think Positively

*Use Goals to Help You Grow

Dr. Schwartz teaches these techniques using real-life cases to make it interesting and to show you how to use the techniques in every day situations. I recommend this book for everyone who has a dream of a better life.

Those are two of my favorite self-development skill books. Here is a list of several more:

Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill

The Greatest Salesman in the World by Og Mandino

The Magic of Believing by Claude M. Bristol

The Power of Positive Thinking by Norman Vincent Peale

Success Through a Positive Mental Attitude by Napoleon Hill, W. Clement Stone

Hung by the Tongue: What You Say is What You Get by Francis P. Martin

One thing about self-development skill books is you need to read them over and over again. The reason is that as you change so will the material. It will have a different meaning for you. So, go to the library and check out some books; you won’t regret it. If they are not available at your library, click here to purchase.
